One-hole punch
To make the back and front covers of your notepad, trace two circles on a sheet of white craft foam using the bottom of a glass or jar.
Place front cover on top of back cover and punch one hole at the top, using the one-hole punch.
Cut out ear, nose, tongue and patch shapes from craft foam.
Draw mouth shape and glue nose, tongue, eyes, ears and patches into place on cover of your notepad.
Fold a few sheets of paper in four, using the same glass or jar trace a circle and cut out. (You can simply cut along fold lines, if you want your notepad to have square pages.)
Stack the pages of your notepad and punch a hole at the top, in the same location as the hole in your front and back covers.
Assemble your notepad by drawing wool or thin ribbon through the hole in your covers and pages, and tie off in a bow.
