I am also available to give workshops to students and adults who are interested in breaking into the field of writing by way of children’s magazines.

I credit children’s magazines for helping me hone my writing skills and, more importantly, for keeping me from giving up on my dream of becoming a writer of children’s books. More than 100 of my non-fiction articles, poems, craft projects and fiction stories have been published in children’s magazines, including Spider, Cricket, Highlights, YESMag, Faces, Clubhouse, and KNOW.
